A tough decision.

Help me decide between these three great cards:

I know that the 3rd card is the best one, but I'm not really sure I want to spend that much on it. Which is the "best bang for the buck"?

If you cant afford the best then forget it, in which case i'd go with the plain 6800. If you did get the best come spring thered be 1 to 3 new bests anyway.

Get yourself a Radeon X800XL or a GeForce 6600GT. Which ever; in another or actually two threads, people have concluded that those two cards give the best graphics performance for the buck.

I've been having myself as well as hearing alot of problems with newer radeons and directx9 games... I don't trust ATI anymore.

I'd say the 6600GT. It's not 256bit, but it has GDDR3 memory whereas the plain 6800 doesn't. I believe that the 6600GT actually outperforms the plain 6800 soooo if you can't get the 6800GT I'd get the 6600GT

uno for best-bang-for-buck. i personally say if you have the money, get the 6800 Ultra
