Is there an advantage?

Is there an advantage to me leaving the cover off of my PC heat/performance wise?

There isn't really any advantage to leaving your side panel off, unless you got cool air in the room. The disadvantages are dust, unless you clean it regularly. Theres also no air circulation or pressure in the case, which is suppose to keep things cool.

Thanks a lot! It seems now that the best thing would be to leave the case off, since we don't have A/C here..
