I have a striped RAID pair (2x 80GB).
I killed my motherboard so I got a new one.
Now the RAID was off a PCI RAID card (Promise brand).
However the card wont boot onthe new motherboard, Im not sure why but it doesnt.
The new motherboard has its own onboard RAID controller however. So heres my question:
1. Can I plug the drives into the new RAID controller and boot straight away OR
2. Can I plug the drives into the new RAID controller and run disk recovery software to rebuild the MBR if that dies along with the meta-information change?
Thanks
