Resolution Issues on Dell Monitor

After playing around with the resolution of my monitor, it now states that, “ The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920 x 1000 A.D., 60 HZ or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.” I NEED HELP

This means you have chosen a resolution whom refresh time needs to be changed from what you have it set at. What operating system are you using? If you are using windows go to your control panel, choose display, choose change display settings, choose advanced choose the tab Monitor and change your screen refresh rate to 60HRZ
