i am just trying to find out a little bit more about ram i have 2gb duel channel of ddr 400 pc3200 kingston ram can anyone tell me what type of ram is the fastest ram and how many diffrent varients there is cos i keep hearing other types like pc 2700 and so on so if someone could just clear up what the fastest type is that would be great . cheers

that is a very difficult question to answer because it can depend heavily on your type of system. the average ram used in most computers (especially AMD based computers) is DDR400 aka pc3200. pc2700 is slower
