Prob with ATI's drivers

I've had my ATI Radeon 9600 for a long time, and its worked fine with all of ATI's drivers... until now.

I downloaded Catalyst 4.8 today, and installed it, all seemed fine, but you know how after you restart after the instilation, it runs all slow cuz its doing tests or whatever, well, it never stopped doing that, and it wont let me run 3d apps.

I tried going back to the old drivers.... nothin worked,,, any ideas?!?

i would uninstall ALL existing ATi drivers on your computer, and then install the omega drivers

should fix the problem (if its a driver problem)
