printer problem

So my girlfriend ran card stock through her printer, and now it won't work. Anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

Made sure it's not jammed anywhere?

Yep no jams. And it's not an old printer by any means so it's not like the card stock should have broke it

Any error lights or anything like that? What exactly isn't working about it?

If you open up the cover, do the ink cartridges slide into place for changing? Have you tried unplugging it from power for about 5 - 10 min and plugging it back in? Or tried it on another computer?

If there was debris on the card stock it could fool the sensor into thinking there is a jam or malfunction. Open it up and look for little eyelets or camera-like sensors get a microfiber cloth and some solution and clean em off.

If thats' the case you can usually notice the debris on the eyelet
