Presenter Mice (Mouse) -- Do they work as regular ones do?

Does anyone know if... mice such as the Libra P5 Presenter Mouse works as a regular mouse? By regular, I mean--it can move around the screen, click once, click twice, change windows etc. I'm trying to buy a wireless mouse with at least 10' range to control my computer's media (open, close, switch windows, etc)...and have had friends tell me both stories...

Hello,

The only difference to conventional mice is that mice like these do not need to be on a surface to operate. Direction is controlled using something which resembles a joystick, and so you can use it in the air so long as its in your hand and that you're in range.
