this is my psu. i need a more wattage. someone told me to make sure the psu was a standard atx before i got anything, whats that? this is all i know about the psu. gateway support doesn't tell me anything. can i just get an antec power supply and put it in?

standard atx just means that it will fit in a standard atx case (Most case sizes). Is the case you have an atx case? If so then you can just put the new psu in.
