What exactly are you trying to do? Make a PSU that can turn on without a motherboard? If so then you can go to Here:

Other wise instead of doing all that just jumpstart your PSU with a piece of wire connected to two pins of your mobo 24 pin connector.
Search on Google on how to jumpstart a PSU and it will show you the exact wires you need to connect the wire to.
