optical output questions

I am looking for some way to make my pc play music through an optital port that I can hook up to my dvd player in another room, I don't mind if it is a converter changing analogue to digital, but really I would prefer a pci card, do any of you know what and where I can get this piece of equiptment, by the way my motherboard is a dfi lanparty ut sli.

Easiest way is probably to get a sound card with optical port on it such as the one in the link below :
