Onboard Sound

I tried all of your suggestions, and none of the driver go with the onboard sound for my computer. The HP Pavilion 512c. I'm so befuddled.

I'm limited at what I can do on the net here at work, but give me a couple hours and I'll see what I can find.

I ran msinfo32, and found that 3 of the devices are conflicting with other devices. One of the 3 is the onboard sound. How to you change the IRQ......Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System (IRQ 9)
SM Bus Controller (IRQ 9)
Multimedia Audio Controller (IRQ 9)

Intel(R) 82845G Grapics Controller (IRQ16)
Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller (IRQ16)

Try this page. See if your driver is there.

If that doesn't work, have you tried Windows Update?
