Odd Monitor Problem

On both my monitors set up as Extended DEsktop, a little band of slight darker colour always moves upwards on my main monitor. On my secondary monitor the same thing happens except it moves downwards. Why does this happen and how can i fix it?

I seemed to have started when i put a different monitor as secondary.
