Noise Lite-On CDRW

I don't know what happen to my Lite-On 52x32x52x CDRW Lately . There is some awful sound come out when it play music /movies ..(i think it turns with very high speed ) .what should i do ? can i lower the speed of reading ?

It is a new one , less than 3 months .

the short answer is no, you cant lower the speed of your cd reader. If you think the noise is not normal then ring up the warranty place and see if you can get it repaired.

If not a sony, then a pioneer. but definately try for a sony.

last time i use Lite-On dvd rom ,it sucks ! then i change to Pioneer dvd rom ...good !

I got one friend said i can reduce the buffer speed -and so reducethe reading speed
