no bios??

So i'm trying to install slackware 10.2 because basically i'm sick of windows.
so i was going to reformat my HD and make it have a few partitions, but now when i'm booting, i can't enter the bios anymore. not only do the options for which button to press not come up, but even when i just try delete, f12, or even f10 to get into some sort of setup menu, nothing happens. how can i get into my bios?

okay, what does the setup menu say...

well the comp i'm installing on is a gateway....
so it says gateway....
and where it normally tells to press certain keys for different options, there's nothing

nevermind, i had to configure lilo and now i don't need to access my bios
