Nforce 4 SLI and WIndows 7

It's been forever since i was into computer hardware, but i got my copy of windows 7 in, and i just found my motherboard is listed under LEGACY now..great.


Well what i'm wondering is does an Nforce4 SLI motherboard even need drivers in Windows 7? thanks!

It's an Asus a8n32 SLI-Deluxe.

Windows 7 Compatibility Center search results - nForce 4

According to the Compatibility Center the mobo is compatible with Windows 7. So i wouldnt think that any additional drivers would be needed.

Awesome! I jumped the gun and already formatted and everything.

That's one thing I like about windows 7, formatting and reinstalling everything took only about an hour and a half

I am using a nForce 4 SLI board. Yes, it does work. Just use Vista drivers.

So far i'ts been working great with no drivers, so i'm thinking i don't need em

ya, i didnt install any drivers for my mobo. in vista, win 7, or XP. i find that they dont do much and sometimes slow up boot times.
