I am building a computer for my sister for christmas out of some left over parts, and from some new parts. The first thing I need help with is a very budget video card. Were talking 64Mb's. Shes plays games, like The Sims and Sims2, but nothing like World of Warcraft, or Doom3. I just need something that will run the games, she doesn't need to be able to put them into their highest settings. I only have a budget of around $50. Could you give me some quick references on cards? I am building the system off this stuff:
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-497&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 Socket 478 1.6Ghz CPU
Ram: 512MB Generic PC3200 DDR
Hard Drive: Segate 60GB 7200 RPM
Case: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=11-145-053&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE
Which leads me to my second question, will all the stuff work together? Mainly the Board. I have never used any boards by ASUS before, im more of an Abit person myself, but that seemed like the most useful and upgradeable board for the money. I have a working VIA board, but it was made 3 or 4 years ago when the chip was made, and its a little out dated that why I sprung for a new board. That way she has the option of putting in a faster chip in the future if she needs to.
