Need help on graphic card update...

I got a quite old PC (P4 2,4GHz 533MHz, 512Mb RDRAM, AGPx4) but plan on upgrading my graph card (GeforceTi4600) to a newer one so I can watch those new cool game effects.

Is it a waste of money to buy a Geforce 6800NU instead of a 6600GT? (The difference here is ~$70) Or is even the 6600GT too much? I'd rather not spend more than ~$300 on it. I've read some about it and the smartest choice is to go with the 6800 and unlock it, i think...

6600GT is the smartest choice. 6800NU's in my opinions and most people's opinions are not worth it, if your spending that much it's better to buy a while 6800GT

the 6800 NU WILL outperform the 6600gt at higher res locked and stock settings

but if you can afford the 6800gt is the next option

Get the geforce 6800GT AGP. Its only like 280 bucks.
