Monitor Splitter?

Ok heres my problem i have a 19" monitor and an infocus X1 projector. the only time i use the projector is when i want to watch a dvd movie. this projector has an option to run the vga cable through the projector and then back to the monitor but the video that comes back out of the projector is horrible. so my question is, is there any sort of splitter or switch box that would let me switch back and both between the two monitors or even use them simultaneously?

There is but I don't know exactly where to find it. Try newegg.com and see what they have. They normally have that kind of junk for sale.

I think that some KVM switches can be run backwards. Try global computer for the cables; I saw them in their catalog.
