do the mobile AMD64's have unlocked multipliers? and do they overclock well? do they use lower voltage than AMD desktop models? and also do they use winchester core in any mobile processors(or any 90nm process).

well since it's only available in socket 754 I'd suggest you simply got 3200+ winnie and OC it, you'll get around the same results but of course a socket 939 winchester would be optimal.

Not sure if they have unlocked multies or not, can't remember off hand, but either get a winnie or wait for the venice and san diego cores to be completely introduced and get one of those

Nah, multipliers are locked on mobiles, but its not really an issue. It's much better to simply lower the multiplier and just boast up the HTT speed for the best results.

Venice cores will probably overclock just as well if not better than mobiles, and they many more vast improvements so I think that's the better choice.

AMD seems to have a very good variety of overclockable cores, the mobiles aren't just in a class on their own anymore.

if mobiles move to socket 939, THEN you might have something, but until then it's best to stick with a venice or san diego if you want that extra cache.

Mobile socket 939 dual core....hmmmmmmm now that would be delicious
