Memory upgrade query.

Hi, im upgrading my system in the new year and I wanna upgrade my RAM from 512 to a gig.

I know that my RAM in my system right now is a DDR512PC3200 Matrix 400Mhz stick.

Now my problem is I cannot find the make Matrix anywhere on any UK computer sites.

So my query is, would it matter if I bought RAM that wasn't the same make? And if not, what RAM would be best?

No it doesn't REALLY matter... your system will still run fine but you won't be able to run them in Dual Channel mode... other than that, your system will run A.O.K.! Some great brands are Corsair, Crucial, and Mushkin. You want to buy a stick that has runs at the same speed as your current stick... I believe it is PC3200 if I remember correctly...
