i have yet another question. i am having problems with my 8+ year old computer, that i fear may be fatal. i do not want to discuss that here, what i do want to ask here is about using flash memory to back up the things i would HATE to loose. i have used a SD card before to copy a few files. could i use a SD card to copy these files rather than a stick, thumb, or whatever their actual name is. the reason i am asking is i will buy one to do this. the two are close enough in price to not matter, but afterward, the sd card could be used in my camera, rather than having a stick drive sitting around for my kids to take to school and loose.

Re: memory
Yeah you can use whatever you want really.

If it doesn't have a card reader, you can get an adapter that basically turns the SD card into a flash drive, so it just plugs in through USB.
