Hi!

In our choir rehearsal house we have a printer: Brother MFC-7360N
There is no network, no pc, no wifi.

We'd like to be able to print from our smartphones, typically from Google Disk.
Mainly on Android, but support also for iOS is preferable.

What is the best way to go about this?
I believe using a phone as internet hotspot?

Do we need a dedicated PC as print-server? With a router?
What do you think is best, easiest and cheapest?

Specs for the Brother MFC-7360N:
USB Hi-Speed 2.0
Ethernet 10/100BASE-TX
NETWORK
Protocol(IPv4)
Protocol(IPv6)

You would need a DHCP Server a Network switch and AP, easiest solution would be to get a basic wireless router to handle all those tasks as DHCP is built in, and most routers have a Wireless AP/Switch.

You would basically connect the printer to the Router, setup a Static IP for the printer inside the routers configuration, setup the wireless network, and you would be good to go. When someone needs to print, they would need to hop onto the wifi network, and things should be good to go.

If that Brother printer is like mine, each person will need to have the Brother Printer Service installed on their phones/tablets to be able to select your Brother printer as a printer. They would also most likely need the printer software installed on any laptops that may connect and need to print to it.
