I've been using Windows for my hole life and would like to try something new, so i've been looking at Linux, i currently have a copy of Fedora Core5 sitting on my Storage drive, and would like to know if it is any good

yup i always recommend that version of linux it is a great starter os.

hey, i should of asked in the first post but it just crossed my mind, i picked up an old PII board (w/CPU) off of ebay, ti says the CPU is rated at 300MHz i plan to bump this to a 500-600MHz PII/PIII, as far as i can tell Fedora will run on this but i need to know what kind of video card i can use that is compatible and it doesn't have to be top notch either just something

Any video card will work, just shy away from ATi, as their drivers suck. I recommend nVidia, Intel or Sis.

hmm, good i can get ahold of any of them
