i am going to buy a 15 inch LCD, but not quite familiar with LCD.

anyone can tell me any big difference between 25ms and 16ms response time? i spend around 5~8 hours in front of my computer almost everyday for my job, but i do not play games often, so 25 ms would be good enough for me? issit the lower response time will be less eye fatigue?

any recommendation for brightness? 250 cd/m or 300 cd/m good enough?

how about contrast ratio? issit 300:1 fine?

beside than that, any other spec that i should consider seriously?

thanks if anyone can give some suggestions. :)

uhh, i though if u were a gamer, u NEED low ms, or it creates a sort of pixel lag, where u see some pixels move a little later than others. The contrast ratio depends o the size of monitor. a 300:1 is ok for a 15". Mine is 450:1 for my 15", and i have a 30 ms response time. Since tehre are no refresh rates on a flt, it wont fatigue ur eyes like a crt will.

Now my suggestion, is if you have the money, look at a hyunday q17, prolly the best flt screen out on the market.
