LCD or DLP

for a lower end projector which is better?

i have been looking at the Sanyo PLV-Z4 and the Mits. HD1000U. but i heard that low end DLP can cause problems. is this true?

My buddy's dad has a DLP, and it seems when we are watching movies it looks great! clean crisp picture, however...regular cable TV comes in blurry and sketchy. It may be the signal or something, although my buddies room (same house), his TV comes in good. So im not sure?

I'd probably go LCD...

DLP for sure... LCD projectors aren't that great in my experience.
