ok last topic on this..can people just recommend a desktop..i dont wanna build one..but this is what i require and what i will use it for.

im going to use it for multimedia just for fun..mp3s,videos,downloading and surfing the web

i want atleast 512 ram
any processor is better then what i got
atleast 80 gig harddrive would prefer more
dvd burner
and my budget is $500

$399, add $100 more for a 15-inch LCD instead of the 17 inch CRT.

oh, and im sorry if my post sounded stupid, but thats pretty a pretty good PC for the price...except for the celeron 2.5
