kingston memory

a friend of mine has a kingston memory stick i was wondering if it will work in my pc....have an older hp pavilion 6653c with a 533 celeron cpu...currently have one 128 stick which i believe is pc100 hyundai...the one he has is either pc66 or 100the sticker on it reads "kingston - usa ktm66x64/64 - ce 2087 - 002.a00"...just curious if i cant determine compatibility before i go sliding the mother board out...thank you for any help.

well if it is a sd ram then it would be either pc100 or pc 133 .. kingston works on all boards and does not conflict anyhow you can run the kingston with yours.

well perhaps i'll give it a shot anyways if it dosentt work then oh well if it does i'll test both sticks to see what speed there running and if it slowed the other down.

in case anyone cares it didnt work....oh well i'll spend the 40 bucks for a new stick that will...i still cant believe old slow ram like that cost that much
