Dear all,

I've got a small keyboard problem on my laptop.... when I type shift + 2 it gives me a " instead of the @ sign and for shift + 3 I get a £ instead of a # sign.
It's only for these two...the other number keys with shift give me the corresponding characters.

In Keyboard settings in Control Panel, I have Input Language English United Kingdom and in Regional Settings I have location as English United Kingdom. Not sure about advanced settings..never use them.

Can someone tell me how I can resolve this problem?

Thanks and regards.

Daniel.

I've tried that but it doesn't seem to solve the problem...
Any other ideas or settings I can check or change to solve this issue?

Thanks.

Daniel.

try to bring your laptop to a specialist... maybe some of the rubbers of your keyboard got stuck or is hitting other parts of the keyboard
