Just Finished my FIRST computer!

Hello everyone! Almost a month ago we had an emergency...dh went to move our computer into a new case and broke a pin off of our cpu (yikes!). So we splurged and got our new computer. And today I finally have it up and running! We started with a Gigabyte GA-8IK1100 mobo, but got two bad ones, so decided to go with ASUS! First mobo had a bad agp slot, second one the cup zif was cracked!

so...after a scare with a slightly bent pin (took to a professional to fix) on our new 3.2 GHz Cpu, and another problem simply solved by uninstalling the CPU and reinstalling it we are finally up and running!!

here are our specs:

ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe Mobo
3.2 GHz HT Intel P4 CPU (northwood)
ATI Radeon 9800 PRO Video Card
Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Sound Card
2 GB Crucial Ram (4 x 512 MB)
Thermaltake 460 W PSU
Cheiftec Green case with locking front (we have a two year old who loves buttons and CD disks)
Wireless Logitech Optical Mouse and Keyboard (buttons!)
Logitech Z-640 5.1 Speaker system
19" Flat Screen Monitor
WinTV PVR-350
HP Photosmart 7760
Windows XP Professional

we don't do much for games...mostly video editing and music stuff, so we thought about an AMD for about 15 minutes!
