Joystick Options

What joystick are you all using? I want a new one but i don't want to spend $300 on it. Any suggestions for a good set up? I'll probable use it for Planetside 2 and Star Citizen.

I'm using a 30 dollar Logitech X3D. Functions all for me, but I'm not all into the whole flight setup anymore like I was 20 years ago.

Something like this is what i want:

I'm not crazy (but I did buy a $450 HOTAS Warthog joystick) | Ars Technica

But i'm not shelling out that kinda cash for the few games i'll use it on. So i'm looking for something like it in the $150 or less range if possible. Just wondering what you all use, if anything.

About 5 years ago I bought my dad a Saitek X51 and although it felt cheap and light he velcroed the **** down and it performed pretty good. I remember paying around 150 for it. They probably have an updated version now.

Edit: Damn that Hotas is amazing.

The MS Sidewinder range was pretty awesome in it's day. Good luck on getting driver support now days.

There's a bunch of decent reviews. There is a lot of people buying it for Elite Dangerous.
