Hi all. Perhaps some of you guys can help me on this one. When ever I start up windows, I get this uncontrollable series of beeping. The beeping follows no particular pattern and it changes all the time. The following are a few examples of what it goes through.
1) I start up windows and it goes into the normal gui. Then all of a sudden I get all those beeps.
2) The beeps will end after about 15 seconds but will start to beep again when I minimize or maximize an application window.
3) I cannot scroll up or down with my mouse. If I try to do it with my keyboard, it constantly bumps it back to the top.
4) After about 1 hour all of this stops and everything is fine.
Seem puzzling? It does to me.
On a side note, I am not sure if this is directly related to this problem but the scroll weel on my mouse only works periodically.
I hope I have been clear as to my situation. Can anybody help? I would greatly appreciate the time and effort.
