IBM PC 300PL (tower type): case removal

How is the case/cover of the IBM PC 300 PL - *tower model* - removed? I got a used one today-- no paperwork, no instructions. I couldn't figure out how to get the case off. I don't want to break the case so I hope one of you has one of these and can explain how to get the case off. [The IBM website wasn't helpful for this.]

As far as I know, they are completely screwless but they do have a case lock on them which must be released obviously. Apart from that, look for anything resembling a release button or catch, if not, just unlock it & slide or lift case off.

IBM 300PL Tower Cases

Hi There! I just ran across one of these for the first time yesterday...also, with no instructions or manuals. Mine has a key + lock on the rear of the case, but no obvious switches, buttons,levers or anything on either side or the front of the case. Did u ever manage to get this case open...if so, how?
