How to disable onaboard audio???

is it simply disable it from the OS or i need to do something on my motherboard???

you have to get into your BIOS

press delete as when the system starts (black screen) and u'll find urslef into blue screen , means BIOS settings

you'll find their in On-Board Peripehels seection, on-Board Audio, simple disable it.

btw, i didnt myself lked the oon-board audio that came with P4C800/P4P800 motherboards, it sucks, isnt it?

yea, extremely bad for gaming so i bought a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value (70 CAN) for a replacement.

same here! bought Audigy 2 ZS, now system rocks. but before runing the board, i knew it that its own will be worst than any, therefore I ordered the Audigy as well while ordering components,

i believe its on real-tek audio chipset. its really awful chipset. though their new chips coded 850 series might be good as they are on 24-BIT. and VIA are coming with their own audio controllers with the name VIA- Vinyl on new AMD motherboards with PCI-E. hope they'll be alternative for the Audigy/Aureon etc.
