has anyone read up on this new technology they are working on?

it is very interesting, and i wil try to track down the URL for all of you to read, but one spec that stuck out to me was that it could store a terabyte of info on something the size of a sugar cube!

now thats nuts!

what do you guys think?

It's Moore's Law. We'll see Terrabyte drives on the market before you can say "loads of porn". And with the SATA interface becoming the standard, it will be fast to access all that data.

Just look at desktop CPU's. With Intel bringing out the Pentium V next year rated at over 4 gig, we'll have some fast systems.

YEs, i can not wait.
the pentium 5 is going to be great.

and the release of PCI express next year as well will just make this all so much better!~ and then the eventual release of the pure rambus memory, no hard drives!! fast fast fast!
