k so i download the client, begin the setup, the setup screen begins then dissapears, i really want to start folding so can some one give me advice? im running vista but it says the clients vista compatible

Are you running SMP client?

He can't be running the SMP client, he only has a single core. I'm guessing it's the regular 5.03

First, which client.

Reinstall it. If you installed the GUI version, forget that, and get the console version instead.

k, downloaded the CPU client, i get an error saying: core download error

Use the text only console.

text only got that, i was using the text only version
