hi i was wondering i need a 128 MB graphics card but it has DDR memory will it still work on my pc evern tho i have PCI memory?

thnks

I think you are confusing things...

DDR memory is the memory on the Video Card.

PCI is not memory, it is a slot in your computer.

Post your system specs, and I'm sure someone can tell you if the video card you are looking at is compatible with your system.

well see im a novice :D and i dont know my unlce came over and told me everything but i forgot he se di have a PCI slot and i need a PCi graphics card so i dunno if this card will work
Product Specification :

Graphics Controller :

NVIDIA® GeForce FX 5700

Memory Configuration :

128MB DDR Memory

Bus Interface:

PCI

so this will work on my PCI??

(my comp is 1 1/2 yrs old and its a Athlon)

Well, that card will work fine, assuming you have a free PCI slot.

ie: PCI slots are the white slots on your motherboard where your sound card, Network card, current video card...etc are plugged in

If you have an AGP slot, (the brownish slot above the PCI slots) get the AGP version of that video card, as AGP will be faster than PCI.

nope i have only PCIs but i alread y have a grapics card in so i will prob take that one out cos its only a 8MB and thanks for all your help ill go buy it now :D
