Help! Blank Disc Autoplay With No Choices?!

I have noticed recently that when I insert a blank disc into my DVD-/+RW drive, (CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, the whole lot) the autoplay choice box comes up, with just a white blank area in it, where it used to say Create CD With Roxio, Create CD With Nero, Alchohol 120%, Open Folder To View, Burn CD With Windows Etc. How can I get all these choices back.

(I can still burn discs with these programs, I just have to go into the programs and select the drive.) IÂ’m Running XP and my DVD-/+RW drive is NEC DVD_RW ND-1300A, although I get the same problem from my Samsung DVD-ROM drive.

I'd say something has changed your windows load in some fashion, if nothing has changed in your hardware, but what exactly has happened is beyond me.

Have you installed any software since this change? Scanned for virus's and malware? Tried a restore point?
