I know this might be a stupid question, but is it in any way possible to make a HDD Spindle Motor run out side the HDD unit?
I even have the controller, but I would like to use only what is really necessary, not the whole board.
The motor is made by Nidec, and I can supply all the information you should need about the part numbers a.s.o.
