Hardware help. CPU, Vid Card.

Okay guys im lost when it comes to AMD cpus and vid cards. I have about 250 dollars to spend and I have a tough choice. I play fps/mmorpgs. one requires speed the other requires video. So here goes the questions.

1. What should I invest my money in, a CPU or a Vid Card?

2. Why are AMD speeds lower than Intel?

3. If I have to get CPU for 250 wat is the best buy?

4. If I have to get a Vid Card wat is the best buy?

5. If you like answering questions, then riddle me this. How do you know which vid card is good?

1. I suggest you try to get both

2. AMD has a more advanced architechture

3. AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Socket 939

4. 6600GT, Vanilla 6800, 6800GT

1. How much ram would you suggest for a gamer? I currently have 768mb DDR 3200.

1GB is fine for any game out right now. 2x512MB sticks in Dual Channel will be more than ok for BF2, HL2, etc..
