Hard Drive Buffering

ATA has 2MB and 8MB buffering, are they that big of a difference? is it worth it to go for the 8MB one or just stick with the cheaper 2MB one?

For the price difference, I would personally go with an 8MB. This is going to improve the performance of the drive as well as increase the overall life. You are not going to see an insane difference though.

hmm, i see, it is only $10-20 difference, so i guess its worth it
