They make a wide array of vid cards to suit many different types of peoples' needs.
If you do no to moderate amounts of gaming, an X300 would be fanastic, because you dont need to spend tons of money on a video card that you dont even use to its full potential.
If you do a lot of gaming, especially new games like BF2, then it definitely isnt that great.

ok, well i use it basically for light gaming, like fifa 2005, need for speed, movies, and thats it! i dont play very graphic demanding games, bcoz games in trinidad are very expensive

i have a tendancy to buy crap cards how do u all get good ones and wat do u all look for wen u buy a graphics card? i basically look at brand and ram.
Well...for one, get Nvidia. Nvidia has far less rip-off cards than ATI. Very few ATI cards are actually worth the money. Second, RAM isn't everything in a video card. Look at pipelines and clock speed as well. For this day and age, you need a card with at least 16 pipelines.
