Hi guys , recently I upgraded my graphix card frm a geforce 440 mx to a geforce 6800. When I opened up my new graphics card I found a paper saying the card requires 350 watts but i only have 297. I have been running games on my pc using the new card and have had no trouble with games blacking out except for Farcry up until the last week. Lately I see weird shapes in the sky on counter-strike source, battlefield 2, and shapes sticking out on call of duty 2. My question is, can a graphics card be deteriating or slowly breaking because a power supply is to low?

Thanx in advance

Yes this issue is caused most commenly by overheating or a lack of power.

However since the video card conditions it's own power, this unit in charge of power will most likely not get enough power which would cause other problems usually.
