gigabyte or msi?

Over all, both are good brands in my opinion.

Personally I favor Gigabyte.

I don't like ASUStech. I have had problems with them
A-Bit.... I would get them if A-Bit could get another Australian Distributor. (Harper has a loathing for Altech Computers)
 
MSI all the way.

Buuut I'd suggest ABit or DFI, they have great overclocking potential in case you want to try your hand at OC'ing in the future.
 
I HAVE A X800 PRO AGP IM NOT GONA SPEND ANOTHER 300-400 JUST FOR A DAM VIDEO CARD THATS A FREAKIN PCIE I DONT CARE IF ITS AGP OR PCIE X800 WORKS FNIE WITH ME!

Dude, there's nothing noob about that. Don't post lame comments like that. A simple

"nah he's getting AGP, so those boards wont due" would suffice.
 
I have bought 2 gigabyte boards with no problems. Very easy to use. But I am sure both are acceptable.
