Ok i posted a bit ago but u probobly dont remember me.
Anyway iam hunting for a new gfx card like everybody seems to be at the moment and i need some opinions.
Iam looking at the FX 5600 Ultra chip and am a bit unsure as to which cards are Ultra and which are not.
The Gainward card has a highly confusing name which is:
Gainward Fx 5600 Powerpack Ultra 780 256MB
So at first i thought it was based on the FX5600 ULTRA chip which of course it isnt. Gainward just threw ULTRA on the box to confuse people like me because its the bog standard FX5600 and explains why its dam cheap.
So my question is this, is this card:
3D Blaster 5 FX5600 Ultra
really based on the FX5600 ULTRA chip or is it just another cruel trick by Creative by throwing the ULTRA name on for good messure? When really its the lower spec FX5600
Cheers
Kei
