FX 5500 or ATI 9550se?

k i got a customer who wants a computer... nothin heavy duty but enuff for his young son to play a few older games nothin new like doom or far cry... n im now stuck between 2 card options.. which one would be the wiser choice here the 55o0 or the 9550se?... ive heard that the older gen cards ati was better but for some reason that se at the end just turns me off lol.. ne help wud be appretiated.. thanks in advance

I think the SE means it's weaker. XT means it's more powerful. I'd say go with the Geforce 5500.

I'd say go with a 9600 pro 128MB if you can, it's a good but cheap card
