Firehazard??

First the wood is put in to a tank of hot water for a few days in order to soften it. Then the wood is sliced in to thin sheets and the backing is pressed to the wood with a 3-ton heat press. Lacquer is then applied to the wood to give it a nice shiny look and protect it from the nasty elements that this world of ours has to offer. Once the wood is treated in this manor it is then applied to the case. This actually gives the appearance that it is made completely from wood. It is basically a thin wood paneling that covers an existing case.

Doesn't look bad...

Even if the WHOLE CASE was made of real wood, it wouldn't be a fire hazard. Your PC would fry FAR before the wood would get to the point of combustion. Paper bursts into flames at 451* F. Even if it was a closed system with NO ventilation, the components would burn out before igniting the wood.... PLUS, there would be a lack of oxygen to allow a fire to burn. If there ar events, there is oxygen, but the heat is being blown out of the case.
