Is it possible to find a file or pic after you have formatted the hard drive and re installed windows?PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Yes, but be prepared to spend alot of money! There is software that claims to bring data back, but I've never had any luck with them. A professional may be able to bring some of it back, but like I said at the beginning....it will be a few hundred $$$.

I have used file scavenger with huge success before. It wasnt after a format, but rather a virus attack.

Do a Google search for it, and you should be able to download a trial version. Good Luck!
