error while playin!!!

When i was playing online on soldier of fotune 2 i got this error message and then i pressed o.k and it quit it's self. does anyone know wats going on.

It means you need to stop playing SoF2 and get a better game

lolzzz- i know it's old but i'm in a clan so this is kinda impotant to me. does any1 know wat the hell this means and how to stop it from happening.

goto microsoft updates and search for "DirectX 9.x"

download and install.

either that or try playing the game in windows 98, XP may not be backward compatible for older games.

XP may not be backward compatible for older games.

XP has an emulation mode to help you run older games - that's the whole point - there is no need to create a dual-boot or get another pc with Win98.
