what should i get the E6600 or the E6700??
are the only diffrence are 200Mhz???
does it worth spending the extra 240$ on the e6700
or just get the e6600???
and wats a good mother bored for a it with SLI?? that i can over clock?

i've always found it odd that people ask "is X number of MHz the only difference". yes that is the key difference but it is a major difference, the other difference would be that the e6700 uses Intel's VIIV technology. don't ask me what VIIV is though :p. in my opinion i don't think the e6700 is better value than the e6600. i can't really field the last question other than i hear the Gigabyte "DS3" and "DS4" boards are all the rage at the moment

The e6700 is not worth spending an extra $240 over the e6600 for .2 more mhz. Just get the e6600 and overclock it.

I'm going to agree with you there. You pay almost double the price for a small diference.

I was having the same debate, E6700 or E6600.

I decided it's not worth the extra money and put the money I saved towards a better video card (1800XT instead of X850XT). Even though the parts will be here tomorrow so I won't be able to give any real feedback, I'm happy I went with the E6600.

I heard that they made the E6700 that much higher in price, because people will see how much cheaper the 6600 is, and know that they got a good deal.
